“Hoax mind” encompasses whats Ionkhe means… clean deep melodies surrounded by creepy atmospheres and granulated textures. Ivan Lugo is the mind behind this brilliant project which is at the forefront of the twilight psytrance genre.

His prior experiences as DJ & musician finally lead him to the wide world of music production. He soon found his calling with psytrance, he still tries to draw on his influences of alternative rock, reggae, and ska music, earned before with some local bands.

He takes inspiration from the events – past, present and future – which mark in his life; he also draws inspiration from  science, spirituality and uncommon areas of interest.

After having heard his early demos – it was only a matter of time before Phonix Records and Ionkhe’s paths crossed – and from there a friendship was born! Phonix Records signed up Ionkhe as a label artist and released his first EP – Revelations – in 2018. After a number of single releases, he also signed up with the legendary Nexus Media in 2019 – releasing his 2nd EP – Super Duper Blaster – in 2020.
